Bent Object is the project of New Zealand dancer Susanne Bentley and Belgian electronic musician and audiovisual artist Peter Van Hoesen. They share a deep interest for the various artistic possibilities offered by merging movement with audiovisual media. The impact of today's pervasive technology and changing notions of control and speed emerges as the leading themes in their work.
Both artists have been working together since 2004, supported by Foton. They live and work in Brussels, Belgium.
Bent Object is currently working on Below 20, a performance about control and immersive environments. Personal websites:Bent Object is supported by Foton, a Brussels-based collective working with electronic media and music.
